Blue School - DeWitt County

Notes gathered from the Decatur newspapers on the history of Blue School which was located in Texas Township, DeWitt County. The one-room schoolhouse was consolidated into the Maroa-Forsyth School District in 1948.

Blue School was built in 1872 and closed in 1948, when it was consolidated into the Maroa-Forsyth School District. The building was sold in Spetember 1956.
