Collection of photographs and information regarding Pleasant Valley School, which was located 3.5 miles south of Maroa, Illinois, on Route 51.
Pleasant Valley School was started some time prior to June 1881 and closed after the 1933-1934 school year. The school was consolidated into the Maroa-Forsyth Unit District in 1947, and the buildings and land were sold off. The schoolhouse was demolished, and the land returned to farm ground.
