Parker School was located in Section 16 of Maroa Township and was set up sometime prior to 1892. According to local records, a new school building was constructed in about 1926. The school closed after the 1943-44 school year, due to declining student enrollment and the students were consolidated into the Maroa School District.

The Parker School building was sold in November 1947 and turned into a private residence.
