Description
Flood School class next to the schoolhouse, c. 1917. Students identified in photo as Dorothy McGinnis, Barbara Anna Bailey, Winona Hockaday, Bessie Blazer, Helen Hockaday, Grace Blazer, and teacher Miss Cole.
Flood School was located about 1.5 miles north of Forsyth on the west side of Rt 51. It was built in 1881 by Henry Flood and closed in 1942. The schoolhouse and property were sold in 1948.
