Description

The earliest reference to Harmony School (sometimes referred to as Harmony North School to differentiate from the Harmony South School in Milam Township) is in 1896. The school was 1 mile east and 2 miles south of Maroa. The school was closed in 1947 as part of the Maroa-Forsyth School District consolidations. The building and land were sold in November 1947 for $2,500.
