The finding aid for the Maroa Historical Society Collection at the MF School Archives.
The Maroa Historical Society was formed in 1982 as a community effort to establish a museum and historical reference center in Maroa, Illinois. A building was donated to the society and
efforts were made to fund a restoration project.
In 1987, the Maroa Historical Society dissolved. The records from the Maroa Historical Society were donated to the Maroa Public Library. In 2021, the Maroa Public Library transferred all of its historical documents into the Maroa-Forsyth School Archives.
