Description
Blue School was built in 1872 and closed in 1948, when it was consolidated into the Maroa-Forsyth School District. The building was sold in Spetember 1956.

Pupils in Blue School, in 1914 were taught all eight grades by the one teacher and all country schools did likewise.
Blue School was located northwest of Maroa and the building still stands on the Ray Norris farm now owned by his daughter, Mrs. Ray Zack of Tacoma, Wash. The farm is occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Harold Totten.
