Description
Center Ridge School was located midway between Maroa and Warrensburg, three miles west of Emery. It was built in 1860 and closed in 1947, as part of the Maroa-Forsyth School District consolidation. The school building was sold for $900 in November 1947. A community Sunday School was held for a number of years in the school. Later a church was built two miles west of Emery.
