Model School was located on the northeast corner of County Highway 20 and North Oakland Avenue. It was built c. 1885 and used as a school until 1949 when it was consolidated into the Maroa-Forsyth School District.

The school district sold the building in 1951. As of 2022, the building remains standing and is a private residence.
